Chapter 6 - The Unveiling

The wealthy guests in the lobby stopped whispering. The silence in the room became absolute, heavy, and suffocating.

Emily stared at Daniel, her tear-filled eyes wide with shock. The staff had known for years that something was wrong with their paychecks, but Coleman had ruled the hotel through fear and intimidation. No one dared to speak up.

Coleman began to hyperventilate. The arrogant, untouchable boss was suddenly sweating profusely in his tailored suit.

“Where… where did you get those?” Coleman stuttered, his voice cracking. “Those are forged! You dug those out of a dumpster! Security! Get him out of here right now!”

Two burly security guards in dark suits rushed forward, their hands reaching for Daniel’s arms.

“Touch me, and you’ll be looking for new careers by sunset,” Daniel ordered, his voice carrying the terrifying weight of absolute power.

The security guards froze in their tracks, entirely unnerved by the command.

Daniel slowly took off his worn, dirty jacket and dropped it onto the marble floor. Beneath the filthy coat, he was wearing a pristine, custom-tailored white dress shirt and a platinum watch that cost more than Coleman’s entire annual salary.
