Chapter 3 - The Captain's Arrival

The heavy, toxic silence in the first-class cabin was absolutely deafening.

The chaotic, mocking laughter violently stopped in a fraction of a second. The wealthy, elite crowd physically recoiled in their seats, looking toward the front of the plane. Stepping into the bright aisle wasn't a smiling flight attendant holding a tray of champagne.

It was the Captain.

He was a highly distinguished, sixty-something man with perfectly neat gray hair. He wore a flawless, classic navy blue pilot uniform with four heavy gold stripes on his shoulders and a crisp captain's hat. He radiated absolute, undeniable authority. He wasn't just a commercial pilot; he was a highly decorated veteran who had flown military cargo jets for twenty years.

The Captain walked slowly down the aisle, his natural micro-expressions completely calm and observing.

The arrogant businessman in the gray suit scoffed, aggressively pointing his manicured finger at Margaret.

"Captain," the businessman demanded loudly, completely failing to read the room. "Thank God you're here. Can you please have your crew remove this woman? She’s blocking the aisle, and her metal leg is a massive safety hazard. I paid ten thousand dollars for this seat, and I refuse to sit next to her."

The Captain didn't even look at the arrogant millionaire. He didn't acknowledge the toxic complaint.
