Chapter 10 - The True Debt Paid

Later that night, the dark, abandoned warehouse was completely silent.

Silvio, the corrupt financial capo, was tied to a steel chair, his expensive suit ripped and his face bruised. He was hyperventilating, surrounded by a dozen heavily armed enforcers.

Ricci walked slowly out of the shadows. He didn't ask questions. He didn't demand a confession.

"You stole from my brother's family," Ricci whispered lethally, staring dead into the traitor's terrified eyes.

"Ricci, please! I spent it!" Silvio sobbed pathetically, begging for his life. "I had gambling debts! I'll pay it back! Have mercy!"

"Marco had no mercy when he took a bullet for me," Ricci replied coldly. He turned his back on the traitor and nodded to his lead enforcer. "Take everything he owns. Liquidate his assets. Then, put him in the ground."

The enforcers moved in, ending Silvio’s reign of greed and betrayal forever.

In the months that followed, Ricci completely dismantled his financial sector, ensuring his empire was fiercely loyal. He personally delivered the multi-million-dollar pension to Marco's widow.

A year later, the mother and daughter weren't shivering on the streets. They lived in a beautiful, heavily guarded estate, completely secure and infinitely wealthy.

Ricci visited them every Sunday. He sat at their massive dining table, completely relaxed, watching the six-year-old girl in a beautiful princess dress eat her favorite pasta. The nightmare was completely over, proving that true loyalty never dies with the man—it lives on in the absolute, terrifying protection of the family he leaves behind.

Do you think getting fired into the rain was enough justice for the cruel waitress, or did she deserve a harsher punishment from the mafia boss?
