Chapter 7 - The Physical Erasure

The cinematic realism of the chaotic eviction completely overwhelmed the luxury living room.
Linda thrashed wildly, screaming obscenities at the young mother as the massive security guards aggressively hauled her toward the hallway. Her expensive green cardigan snagged on the corner of the white armchair, ripping the fabric.
Ryan scrambled to his feet, trying to grab his designer luggage from the entryway, but the police officers forcefully pushed him backward.
"You'll pay for this! You'll never see a dime of my money!" Ryan screamed hysterically, his voice breaking into a pathetic, high-pitched squeal as he was shoved out the front doors.
The heavy oak door slammed shut with a resounding, permanent click.
The chaotic, toxic energy was entirely dragged out of the penthouse, plunging the bright living room back into a profound, beautiful peace.
The wife stood completely still. The heavy, suffocating weight that had crushed her chest since the day she gave birth was completely, permanently lifted. She didn't cry. She walked slowly over to the pristine white bassinet.
