Chapter 4 - The Vicious Confession

Since the lie was dead, Brenda decided to embrace the truth. She crossed her arms over her chest, tossing her long, wavy red hair over her shoulder with an arrogant scoff.
"Fine. You caught me," Brenda sneered, completely dropping the nervous stutter. "But let's be honest, Dad. You and Mom are sitting on an eighty-million-dollar real estate empire, and what do you do with it? You hoard it. You sit in this ridiculous mansion, staring at white roses and American flags, while I have to wait around for you two to eventually die so I can start my real life."
Frank stared at his flesh and blood, completely disgusted. "You have a luxury condo, a trust fund, and a six-figure allowance. We gave you everything."
"It's not enough!" Brenda shouted, her voice echoing off the gold accents of the room. "I'm forty years old next month! I want the primary accounts. I want the holding companies. I want the offshore investments. I am the sole heir, and I am tired of asking for permission to use my own future money!"
She reached out and snatched the freshly stamped legal document from the glass table, holding it up like a victorious trophy.

"And guess what, Dad?" Brenda mocked, a cruel, triumphant smile returning to her face. "It doesn't matter that you caught me. This stamp is legally binding. I just authorized the transfer of the entire primary estate into a blind trust that I control. I won."
👉 Brenda thought she held the ultimate winning card, but her father’s next move would shatter her entire reality.
