Chapter 34 - the server room
Caleb quickly reached the master server room, violently kicking the heavy mahogany doors open with a deafening crash. Inside, a panicked hacker was desperately trying to bypass the corporate firewalls to steal Caleb's offshore billions.
The hacker looked up, absolutely terrified that the powerful billionaire was standing there completely unfazed by the agonizing sonic weapon that was supposed to easily cripple every single person in the building.
"You're supposed to be paralyzed!" the hacker screamed hysterically, frantically drawing a suppressed pistol from his tactical vest. Caleb didn't hear a single word, but he read the terror on the man's face perfectly.
He moved with blinding, explosive speed, flawlessly disarming the hacker and slamming him violently against the massive digital monitors. The physical reckoning was incredibly swift, deeply brutal, and entirely devoid of any human mercy.
