Chapter 7 - The Silent Protector

Before Dominic could pull the trigger, a heavy stainless steel frying pan violently smashed into his wrist.

The silver pistol fired a blank shot into the ceiling before clattering loudly onto the tile floor. Dominic let out a horrific shout of pain, spinning around to face his attacker.

It was Caleb.

The twenty-seven-year-old heir didn't look broken anymore. He radiated the crushing, undeniable, and lethal authority of a true titan. Caleb aggressively kicked the pistol under the commercial ovens, completely disarming his terrifying father in a single, flawless move.

The two bodyguards rushed forward, but Caleb moved with blinding, highly trained precision, neutralizing both men with devastating strikes to their throats and knees.

Dominic staggered backward, staring at his son in sheer, apocalyptic shock.

Caleb didn't physically attack his father. He stood tall in his sharp black suit, his dark eyes burning with absolute, unfiltered disgust. He looked at Hannah and began signing with powerful, commanding intensity.

"Tell him," Caleb signed.

Hannah took a deep breath, her voice echoing perfectly across the dead-silent kitchen. "He says you thought his silence meant he was blind."

Caleb signed again, his face a mask of cold vengeance.

"He says he has been lip-reading your meetings for ten years," Hannah translated flawlessly. "He knows exactly how you killed his mother. And he just transmitted the entire flash drive to the federal authorities using the restaurant's Wi-Fi."

👉 Dominic’s jaw literally unhinged as the heavy, aggressive sound of sirens flooded the street outside.
