Bianca had been wrong about one thing.
Catherine was not becoming owner of the estate.
Neither was Alessandro.
Neither was Rosalie.
The trust amendment Catherine proposed after reviewing everything did something much simpler.
It strengthened Livia’s existing position.
The estate remained in trust.
Alessandro kept his occupancy and management rights while acting appropriately.
Independent oversight increased.
No future spouse could acquire operational control without trustee review.
And the property’s eventual beneficial ownership remained reserved for Livia.
The “new owner” Alessandro referred to in the bridal suite was not technically new at all.
It was his daughter.
Livia had always been the future of the house.
