Chapter 4 - The Estate Was Never Alessandro’s to Give Away Alone
The phrase new owner came from a set of property documents Bianca had been obsessing over.
The Bellaforte estate looked like Alessandro’s house.
Legally, it was more complicated.
Alessandro’s grandfather had placed the property inside a family holding trust decades earlier.
Alessandro had a lifetime occupancy right and managerial authority.
But outright ownership was scheduled to transfer to the next generation under specific conditions.
Livia was the primary remainder beneficiary.
At twenty-five, assuming the trust remained unchanged, she would become controlling beneficial owner of the estate.
Bianca knew that.
She hated it.
Because marrying Alessandro did not automatically make her owner.
Not even close.
At most, she could acquire certain occupancy rights if Alessandro amended separate estate documents within legal limits.
The core property remained protected.
