Chapter 14 - the midnight breach
At midnight, Evelyn's elite special task force approached the isolated military bunker under the pouring rain. Evelyn wore black tactical gear, moving with the terrifying speed and silence of a ghost.
The security fence was quickly disabled by a military-grade jamming device. Her team skillfully took down two outer perimeter guards with Krav Maga strikes precise to the millimeter, letting not a single sound escape into the night.
Inside the dark bunker, Evelyn found the massive safe cleverly hidden behind a reinforced steel wall. With master lock-picking skills honed from securing her own black-ops assets, she popped open the vault door in just three minutes.
Inside was a hard drive containing all the corruption files, illegal domestic surveillance lists, and shady contracts of General Hayes with rogue contractors. A blood-stained treasure with the power to immediately destroy his career.
