Chapter 6 - The Traitor Revealed
The cinematic tension in the dining room shattered into pure, unadulterated chaos.
Realizing he was completely cornered, the slick doctor aggressively reached inside his medical bag, desperately trying to pull a heavy, suppressed handgun to shoot his way out of the mansion.
But Frank’s men moved with explosive, blinding speed.
Before the doctor could even clear the weapon, two towering capos vaulted over the mahogany table. They violently tackled the doctor to the polished marble floor, pinning him down exactly where the broken crystal glass had shattered.
"Who paid you?!" Frank roared, a sound of pure, feral wrath tearing from his chest.
"It was the Barone family!" the doctor shrieked pathetically, sobbing in sheer terror as a capo pressed a heavy boot against his throat. "They paid me five million to eliminate the heir! I'm sorry! Have mercy!"
Frank felt absolutely zero human empathy for the monster crying on the floor.
"Take him to the basement," Frank ordered lethally, entirely devoid of mercy. "And get my son to the city hospital right now. Tell them it's ethylene glycol poisoning. Tell them to prep the antidote."
The capos violently dragged the screaming, panicking doctor out of the dining room. His desperate cries faded down the hallway, ending his reign of toxic greed forever.
