Chapter 36 - the ultimate surrender

Marco tried to lunge for a hidden drawer, but Noah moved with blinding speed, pinning the cyber-terrorist against the glass wall overlooking the city skyline. The sheer physical power of the Carter heir completely terrified the coward.

"My family spared you during the purge," Noah gritted out, his dark eyes burning with intense, righteous fury. "We chose peace. You chose to target innocent sick children to settle a petty, pathetic grudge."

"You destroyed my family!" Marco sobbed hysterically, realizing his extortion empire was completely collapsing. "You owe us!"

"We owe you nothing," Noah replied softly. "The encryption key. Give it to my team right now, or I will throw you out this window and let gravity solve my problem."

Marco didn't hesitate. Trembling violently, he typed the master decryption key into the central console. Across the city, the medical foundation's servers instantly unlocked, saving decades of priceless research and securing the children's futures.
