Chapter 7 - The Master Strategy

"You have fifty men guarding the compound," Alexander repeated smoothly, entirely unbothered by the threat. "That's a very impressive security detail for a cartel that officially filed for massive bankruptcy three days ago."
The rival boss physically stopped breathing on the other end of the line.
"What are you talking about?" the Romanov boss demanded, his arrogant tone cracking with sudden, breathless panic.
"I've been hunting you for five years," Alexander explained flawlessly, his voice carrying the crushing weight of a true titan. "Did you really think I didn't know you were bleeding money? Did you really think I didn't know you hadn't paid your heavily armed guards in over a month?"
Alexander reached into his massive titanium vault. He didn't pull out a gun. He pulled out a thick, heavy stack of legally binding, highly encrypted offshore wire transfer receipts.
"Exactly ten minutes ago," Alexander announced coldly, "I successfully wired twenty million dollars directly into the private, untraceable bank accounts of your fifty guards."
"You're lying!" the Romanov boss shrieked wildly, the absolute, apocalyptic reality of his failure setting in.
