Chapter 10 - The Unbreakable Family

Six months later, Theo was officially sentenced to fifteen years in a federal penitentiary. Without his stolen money, he was entirely invisible, forced to rot in a concrete cell while the world completely forgot his name. Victoria took full control of her father's company, running it with absolute integrity.
Naomi's life completely transformed.
With the massive influx of heavily enforced back child support and the aggressive financial backing of the Sterling Foundation, she never had to worry about a single bill ever again.
The bright bakery was filled with warm, beautiful sunlight again.
Naomi stood at the wooden counter wearing a stunning new coat. She wasn't counting coins anymore. She happily bought a massive box of fresh chocolate croissants for her boys.
Eli stood next to her in his yellow jacket, smiling brightly. And standing right beside him was Leo.
Leo wasn't holding his communication notebook anymore. He was wearing two highly advanced, perfectly tuned cochlear implants. He looked up at the bakery owner and, for the very first time in his life, clearly and happily ordered his own pastry using his own voice.
Naomi wept tears of pure, overwhelming joy, hugging her sons tightly. She had survived the absolute worst betrayal imaginable, fiercely protected her children, and emerged completely, undeniably victorious.
