Chapter 8 - The Villain's Execution

“Please, Adrian! I love you!” Vanessa sobbed frantically, dropping to her knees on the hardwood floor, completely humiliating herself in front of the woman she had just mocked.
Adrian completely ignored her tears. He pulled his phone back out and dialed his Head of Security, who was waiting downstairs.
“Bring two men to the master bedroom immediately,” Adrian commanded flawlessly. “And call the federal authorities. I have a massive corporate embezzlement case with absolute, undeniable proof.”
Vanessa let out a horrific, apocalyptic shriek of pure terror. She wasn't just losing her billionaire lifestyle; she was going straight to a federal penitentiary for the next twenty years.
Within seconds, two towering, heavily armed security guards marched into the room. They didn't treat Vanessa like a respected executive. They violently grabbed her by the arms, hauling the screaming, thrashing woman forcefully to her feet.
“Take her out through the service elevator,” his wife added quietly, repeating Vanessa’s cruel words from earlier. “We don't want her scratching the marble.”
The guards nodded respectfully to the true lady of the house. They aggressively dragged Vanessa backward out of the bedroom. Her desperate screams echoed down the hallway until the heavy doors slammed shut, plunging the master suite into a profound, heavy silence.
The toxic parasite was completely, permanently erased from their lives.
Adrian stood alone in the center of the room. The arrogant, untouchable billionaire was completely dead. He looked at the beautiful woman in the pale-blue dress, his dark eyes brimming with absolute, agonizing regret. He had thrown away a brilliant, fiercely loyal woman for a cheap, sociopathic lie.
