Chapter 10 - The True Family
Within seconds, two massive hospital security guards burst into the room. They grabbed Garrett by the arms, dragging him up from the floor. Kendra shrieked as they were both aggressively escorted out of the maternity ward, their flashy clothes and arrogant attitudes completely destroyed by their new, horrifying reality.
The heavy hospital door clicked shut, finally sealing the toxic poison out of Brooke’s life forever.
The heavy tension in the room instantly evaporated. Richard let out a long, shuddering sigh, the ruthless billionaire CEO replaced entirely by a loving, devoted father. He walked over to the bassinet and gently picked up the baby boy.
He walked over to Brooke’s bedside and sat down on the edge of the mattress. Carefully, Richard placed the baby boy directly into Brooke’s free arm, right next to his twin sister.
"The adoption paperwork will be reversed the moment your divorce is finalized," Richard whispered softly, tears of relief shining in his eyes. "They are both yours, Brooke. Completely, legally yours. He can never touch them."
