The grand american penthouse felt completely secure once again. The backup generators were disabled, and the warm, golden light of the crystal chandeliers perfectly illuminated the pristine marble hallways. The terrifying cyber-storm had officially, permanently passed into history.
Elias walked into the luxurious suite, his rugged, scarred face breaking into a rare, genuine smile. Liliana stood by the massive floor-to-ceiling window, peacefully drinking her champagne. When her loyal protector entered, the brilliant ceo turned and offered him a freshly poured crystal glass.
"You protected our empire, Elias," Liliana murmured, her voice thick with profound, overwhelming gratitude and pride. "We fought them with our minds, and we won flawlessly."
