Chapter 14 - the deadly crossfire

Panic violently erupted among the Black Lotus mercenaries. Stripped of their technological advantage and completely surrounded by Silas's heavily armed enforcers, they desperately raised their assault rifles to return fire.
But they were entirely outmatched by the sheer, terrifying tactical brilliance of the mafia boss.
Silas didn't flinch as the bullets sparked against the metal containers. He moved with the lethal, calculating grace of a true apex predator. He raised his customized, matte-black handgun, taking down the two lead mercenaries with flawless, millimeter-precise shots.
The heavy, concussive sounds of the firefight echoed across the freezing water. Silas's men utilized non-lethal flashbangs, systematically disorienting and incapacitating the European intruders.
Within exactly seven minutes, the massive, highly coordinated assault was completely crushed. The surviving mercenaries dropped their weapons, falling to their knees on the wet, freezing asphalt in absolute defeat.
Silas walked slowly toward the mercenary commander, his dark eyes radiating an overwhelming, suffocating aura of pure violence.
"Who ordered the strike?" Silas demanded, his voice a low, vibrating growl.
