Chapter 2 - The Uninvited Guests

The cinematic realism of the suffocating, heavy tension completely electrified the bright summer afternoon.
Following right behind Sienna were her wealthy, arrogant parents. Beverly, her early-sixties mother, wore a light beige cardigan and pearl earrings. Gordon, her distinguished mid-sixties father, wore a casual dark blue jacket and a beige baseball cap. They aggressively pulled two massive black rolling suitcases across the gravel driveway, entirely expecting a luxurious, fully catered three-week vacation.
A tight close-up captured Elliot. He didn't flinch. He didn't step aside.
The retired father remained completely calm, his natural micro-expressions shifting into firm, unamused, and absolute authority. He looked directly into his daughter-in-law's eyes.
"Sienna," Elliot stated smoothly, his deep voice carrying a freezing, lethal frequency that sliced right through the ambient noise of the lake breeze. "I never invited any of you."
Beverly physically stopped in her tracks. The elderly mother looked at the stunning cedar cabin in absolute, breathless disbelief. She violently gripped her suitcase handle and turned indignantly toward the retired father on the porch.
"Excuse me?!" Beverly shrieked, her voice completely shattering the peaceful atmosphere. "But we already packed everything! My daughter told us this was a family vacation home! We canceled our country club reservations for this!"
Gordon nervously adjusted his glasses, his confident expression violently melting into visible embarrassment.

"Sienna," Gordon whispered anxiously, looking around the isolated forest. "What is going on?"
👉 Sienna didn't feel embarrassed; she completely lost her temper and aggressively charged up the wooden steps.
