Chapter 5 - The Stolen Savings

"That's impossible!" Sienna shrieked wildly, violently thrashing her arms as her entire fake identity completely collapsed into dust.
She desperately lunged forward, trying to snatch the blue folder right out of Elliot's hands. But Elliot effortlessly pulled the folder back, his dark eyes flashing with a cold, demonic fury.
"Don't touch my property," Elliot commanded smoothly, entirely devoid of human mercy.
"Mark gave you the down payment!" Sienna roared aggressively, pointing her manicured finger at the retired father. "I know he did! Fifty thousand dollars went missing from our joint savings account last week! He gave it to you to buy this house behind my back!"
"He didn't give it to me," Elliot whispered coldly.
Sienna froze, profound confusion washing over her perfectly powdered face. "Then where did the money go?!"
Elliot reached into the back of the blue folder and pulled out a highly specific, heavily encrypted digital bank ledger. He didn't hand it to her. He held it up in the bright cinematic daylight.

👉 Sienna’s knees literally buckled as the apocalyptic reality of the situation violently slammed into her chest.
