Robert felt a bead of sweat form on the back of his neck. He quickly reached inside the breast pocket of his charcoal suit and pulled out a folded legal document.
He slammed the paper down on the white tablecloth right next to Julia’s plate of prime rib.
"Sign it," Robert demanded, tapping the signature line with his index finger. "My lawyer already notarized my half. You sign this right now, in front of all these witnesses, and the company is officially one hundred percent yours. You take all the assets, and all the liabilities. I take the offshore cash, and Amber and I are on a private jet to Monaco by midnight."
Robert’s heart pounded with a sinister thrill. What the fifty guests didn't know was that the Bennett Corporation was a poisoned apple.
