The two thugs lunged forward, intending to subdue Tessa. But they had severely misjudged the strength of this small woman. Ten years of practical self-defense training was not just for show.
The moment the first man swung his knife, Tessa dodged the attack perfectly, simultaneously delivering a devastating spinning kick to his knee joint, sending him dropping to his knees in agony. She used her handbag to smash hard into the second man's face.
However, a man's sheer physical strength was still overwhelming. The second man quickly recovered, slapping her so hard that Tessa tumbled onto the damp asphalt. He grabbed her by the hair, preparing to deliver a fatal blow.
Right at that moment, the roar of an engine tore through the fog. Massimo's bulletproof supercar screeched to a halt at the entrance of the alley. The mafia boss stepped out of the car, leaning on his cane, his eyes blazing with ultimate fury.
Panicked, the thugs let go of Tessa, attempting to flee. But Massimo's snipers had already surrounded the entire alley. The inescapable net had been cast; not a single mouse could escape.
