The vile conspiracy was meticulously planned under the cover of darkness. Vanessa utilized her past knowledge of Grandma Evelyn's routines to bypass the penthouse's private elevator security codes.
On a rainy evening, knowing Claire was attending a massive charity gala, Richard and Vanessa quietly infiltrated the luxurious penthouse. Their hearts pounded with toxic excitement as they walked past the expensive artwork they felt entitled to own.
Richard moved directly to the hidden wall safe behind the mahogany bookshelf. Using lockpicking tools he had recently acquired from his new, shady associates, he forced the heavy steel door open.
Inside, there was no cash. There was only a small silver USB drive and a stack of Julian's handwritten letters. Richard aggressively snatched the drive, absolutely convinced this was the weapon that would execute Claire's empire.
Before leaving, Vanessa maliciously knocked over an expensive crystal vase, utterly thrilled by her petty vandalism.
