Claire slowly set her glass down, completely devoid of human empathy. The cinematic silence in the grand boardroom was incredibly heavy. She looked at the man who had tried to destroy everything she loved with a cold, piercing gaze.
"You came into my hospital to speak of bankruptcy, victor?" claire asked softly, her voice a low, lethal rumble. "That is incredibly ironic."
She pulled a sleek, encrypted tablet from her designer bag and placed it perfectly in the center of the table. "While you were busy attempting to squeeze my supply lines, my intelligence operatives were actively mapping your entire financial infrastructure."
The tablet illuminated, displaying irrefutable, highly classified evidence of victor's massive international wire fraud, illegal market manipulation, and vast network of offshore slush funds. Victor's arrogant smirk completely vanished. The blood violently drained from his face, leaving him looking like a terrified ghost.
