Chapter 26 - face to face
"Stop right there," Thomas's cold, deep voice echoed throughout the room, as the dark barrels of the special task force aimed straight at Viktor and his accomplices simultaneously. The surprise left them completely unable to react or resist.
Viktor slowly turned around, flashing an incredibly arrogant smirk. He showed no fear when facing the special task force. He looked at Emma, his eyes gleaming with the contempt and cruelty of a bloodthirsty beast.
"Arthur Sterling's daughter," Viktor clapped slowly. "You have the exact same eyes as your stupid father. You think throwing Grant Maddox in prison really cleaned up this underworld? You are dead wrong."
A blazing fury surged violently in Emma's mind. She didn't flinch, stepping forward with the aura of a true queen, directly facing her sworn enemy.
