Chapter 34 - the psychological snare

Returning to the corporate war room, Arthur utilized his mother's brilliant psychological strategy. He didn't waste time trying to build stronger firewalls; instead, he engineered a massive, irresistible digital honeypot.

It was a flawless replica of the Sterling central mainframe, filled with seemingly authentic, multi-billion-dollar routing numbers. He intentionally left a microscopic, highly complex vulnerability in the outer code—a deadly digital siren song for an arrogant hacker.

"When he attacks the honeypot to execute his final threat, his own system will unknowingly download a highly aggressive, military-grade tracking beacon," Arthur explained to his elite security team, his voice radiating absolute authority.

The invisible hacker, blinded by his own toxic superiority and deep-seated hatred for the Sterling family, bit the bait completely. At exactly midnight, the rogue signal violently breached the fake server, greedily attempting to seize control of the ports.

But the moment the connection was fully established, Arthur slammed the digital doors shut. The tracking beacon successfully locked onto the hacker's satellite uplink. The phantom was no longer invisible, and the counter-strike had officially begun.
