Avery didn't rely on the FBI forces or international cybersecurity experts. She contacted the underground network in Chicago that Dominic always secretly controlled. A team of the most invisible genius hackers was summoned urgently.
They turned the tower's safe bunker into a high-tech military command center. During forty-eight hours of extreme tension, the air thickened as Avery worked relentlessly with the underground agents.
"They are routing the IP addresses through proxy servers in Eastern Europe," Avery analyzed, her eyes reflecting the cold light from the screens. "But their attack algorithm has a microscopic flaw. They are too aggressive."
Dominic stood right behind her, his large hand gently placed on his wife's sturdy shoulder. "Use that very aggression to destroy them, Avery. Set a digital trap. Let them think they have won."
