Chapter 36 - complete erasure
Dominic didn't open fire to kill the hackers right there in the server room. Death was too easy a release for those who dared to threaten the Sterling empire. He had arranged a punishment that was much more brutal, thorough, and permanent.
Using the very digital weapon that Vanguard had intended to use to harm him, Dominic's team infiltrated and drained every offshore secret account of the leader. They confiscated all his real estate, supercars, and erased his hidden fortune.
Next, they sent all the undeniable evidence of the cyber terrorism directly to the federal police. The FBI raided his luxury apartment in less than an hour later. He was left completely empty-handed.
The threat was extinguished forever without Dominic having to dirty his hands with a single drop of blood. The message sent to the underworld was incredibly clear and terrifying: the king of Chicago was untouchable on both the physical and digital fronts.
