Chapter 9 - The Absolute Ruin

Dominic didn't step back. He looked down at his sobbing fiancée with absolute, freezing contempt.

"You were never going to be my wife," Dominic stated coldly. "You were a parasite feeding on a dead man's blood."

He didn't yell. He didn't throw anything. The sheer, unbreakable calm of the billionaire was a thousand times more terrifying than a violent outburst.

Dominic looked at his head of security, who had just recovered from my strike.

"Lock the doors," Dominic commanded. "Nobody from the Vance family leaves this building."

He tapped his phone screen three times.

"While you sit there in the icing, Vanessa," Dominic explained smoothly, "I am triggering the override codes your father thought he hid. I am seizing every single offshore account your family owns. I am freezing your trust funds, your estates, and your corporate assets. You are completely, permanently bankrupt."

Vanessa shrieked, tearing at her own hair in pure, unadulterated humiliation as the wealthy guests watched her absolute downfall.

"And I just forwarded Arthur's complete evidence file to the FBI," Dominic added.
