Chapter 24 - the brutal message

"You threatened my wife," Silas growled, his voice a low, dark, vibrating rumble of pure death. He didn't wait for the enforcer to respond. With blinding, lethal speed, Silas violently twisted the man's arm behind his back, snapping the wrist with a sickening, echoing crack.
The scarred man shrieked in absolute agony, dropping to his knees on the pristine marble floor. The other three enforcers panicked, reaching inside their cheap jackets for their concealed weapons.
They were catastrophically too slow. Silas's elite, heavily armed syndicate guards stepped seamlessly out of the shadows, their laser sights instantly painting the chests of the trespassers.
"Take them to the loading dock," Silas commanded coldly, his dark eyes entirely devoid of mercy. "Break their legs. And tell them to deliver a message to Viktor. If he sends his trash into my hotels again, I will burn his entire operation to the ground."
