Viktor did not take the humiliating defeat lightly. Instead of launching another foolish physical assault against Vanguard’s heavily fortified properties, the European ghost decided to strike from the absolute safety of the digital shadows.

Late that evening, Harper was in her executive office reviewing the luxury supply chain logistics when her secure terminal violently flashed red. A massive, highly sophisticated cyberattack was actively dismantling their corporate booking and financial servers.

The entire hotel plunged into a sudden, deliberate blackout. Emergency lights flickered, casting eerie shadows across the marble hallways. The guests began to panic, confused by the unprecedented systems failure.

Harper didn't freeze. She immediately utilized her deep, empathetic connection with her staff, communicating via analog radios to securely lock down the public areas and escort the frightened guests into the heavily protected luxury ballrooms.
