The chaotic, tense energy finally left the corner table.

Silas let out a slow, heavy breath, the aggressive tension melting from his broad shoulders once again. He turned back to the table, looking at his aunt Eleanor, who was watching the entire exchange with a calm, satisfied expression.

He then looked at Harper.

The young waitress was standing quietly, her hands clasped nervously in front of her burgundy vest. She had just watched her boss fire the General Manager in thirty seconds.

"I apologize for the disturbance, sir," Harper said softly, unsure of her own fate.

"You have absolutely nothing to apologize for, Harper," Silas replied, his voice returning to a tone of profound, genuine respect. He pointed at the empty space where the General Manager had just been standing.

"This restaurant needs a new General Manager," Silas stated, the absolute power of his wealth backing every syllable. "Someone who understands that true hospitality requires empathy, not arrogance. I'm quadrupling your salary, Harper. The position is yours."

Harper gasped, her dark eyes widening in pure, unadulterated shock. "Sir... I'm just a waitress. I don't have the executive experience—"
