Chapter 17 - the brutal verdict
In less than thirty minutes, the Corvi gang's raid was completely crushed. Dozens of bodies lay scattered across the estate grounds. The survivors were disarmed and captured alive by Marcus's forces.
Lorenzo, the arrogant mastermind, was kicked to the marble floor of the main hall by Marcus. Clutching his bleeding arm, he glared at Alessandro with a look filled with hatred and extreme indignation.
"Did you think you could destroy me, Alessandro? The Corvi family will never die!" Lorenzo roared like a wounded beast.
Alessandro walked over slowly, his designer leather shoe stepping hard onto the rebel's chest. He leaned down, his voice as cold as ice: "The Corvi family died twenty years ago. You are just a delusional crow."
Alessandro pulled the trigger. A dry gunshot rang out, putting a permanent end to all grievances and hatred from the past. There is no mercy in the underworld, especially for those who dare to threaten the lives of the innocent.
