Chapter 103 - tracing the ghost

The twins did not rely on federal authorities to investigate the harbor explosion. They immediately mobilized their elite, heavily armed shadow enforcers and activated the deep intelligence network their father had quietly cultivated.
Sophie sat at the mahogany desk in her study, utilizing her brilliant analytical mind to trace the origin of the digital breach. Her fingers flew across the glowing keyboards with blinding, cinematic speed.
"The explosive charge was military-grade, entirely untraceable on the black market," Ruby reported, stepping into the study with a thick dossier. "But the digital footprint left on our servers had a microscopic flaw."
Sophie cracked the encryption after three agonizing hours. The data revealed a series of hidden offshore accounts and a name that made their blood run completely cold: Julian Moretti.
"He is Silas's hidden son," Sophie breathed, her eyes widening in absolute shock. "Raised in exile by the Russian cartel that executed his father. He survived, and he blames us for his father's ruin."
