The heavily armed Russian mercenaries panicked, realizing they had walked blindly into a highly coordinated death trap. They immediately dropped their weapons onto the floor, raising their hands in absolute, humiliating defeat.
Ruby stepped around the mahogany desk, picking up Silas's old watch. She looked at Alexei with profound, overwhelming disgust. "Did you really think we would leave our logistics hubs unprotected? My elite cyber-team permanently neutralized your detonators ten minutes ago."
Alexei staggered backward, his face completely drained of color. The arrogant, untouchable warlord realized he had been entirely outmaneuvered by the twin queens before he had even spoken a single word.
"We are not going to kill you in this office," Sophie declared, her voice echoing with lethal precision. "We are going to use you to dismantle your entire overseas network."
