Chapter 25 - the phantom raid
Sophie didn't send a noisy army of street thugs to the downtown high-rise. She dispatched a highly specialized, absolutely silent tactical unit. They moved through the shadows with terrifying, cinematic precision, utilizing advanced thermal cloaking.
Sophie breached the designated floor herself. She moved with the lethal, silent grace of a true phantom, completely bypassing the amateur security guards Vanguard had hired. She kicked open the heavy glass doors of the server room.
Five panicked, pale hackers scrambled backward, their expensive monitors completely fried by Ruby’s viral code. Sitting at the center of the room was their arrogant leader, a disgraced former tech billionaire who thought he could extort the queens.
"You stole our data," Sophie stated, her voice a low, vibrating rumble of absolute death that echoed through the dark room. "And you threatened my family."
