The mercenaries kicked open the main office doors, sweeping the room with their weapon lights. They expected a terrified waitress cowering in the corner. Instead, they found the office completely empty. Sophie had already slipped through the service corridors.
Suddenly, the massive front glass doors of the restaurant violently shattered. Adrian Voss stepped into the darkness, his tactical weapon drawn, and his face a mask of absolute, unforgiving death.
The mercenaries scrambled to return fire, but they were entirely overwhelmed by the devastating tactical superiority of Adrian and his elite enforcers. Suppressed gunfire tore through the pristine dining room.
