Chapter 22 - the warehouse breach

Adrian moved methodically through the shipyard, executing a flawless, silent purge of the enemy forces. He picked off Marcus's men one by one with robotic efficiency. Panic began to spread through the radio communications as squad after squad went completely silent.

Meanwhile, inside the central warehouse, Marcus Vance paced nervously. He checked his diamond watch, realizing that Adrian hadn't transferred the corporate deeds yet. "Execute the old woman," Marcus commanded, completely abandoning his extortion plan in a fit of cowardly panic.

But just as the mercenary raised his weapon toward Mrs. Ellis, the heavy steel doors of the warehouse were blown completely off their massive iron hinges with a deafening, incredibly violent crash. Thick white smoke poured into the room.

The mercenaries fired wildly into the fog, entirely blinded by the tactical explosion. Through the swirling smoke walked Adrian Voss, his tactical weapon raised, his face a mask of absolute, unforgiving death.
