Chapter 40 - the silent infiltration

Adrian arrived at the estate in complete darkness, parking blocks away. The local swat teams had surrounded the perimeter, but they were entirely paralyzed by Kovac’s terrifying threat to execute staff if anyone approached the building.
Adrian didn't need the front door. Moving with the terrifying, cinematic silence of a true phantom, he scaled the sheer brick wall of the loading dock, completely bypassing the mercenaries' outer surveillance perimeter.
He slipped through a narrow ventilation shaft, dropping silently into the third-floor maintenance corridor. Two heavily armed mercenaries were patrolling the hallway, confident that their superior firepower made them completely untouchable.
They were catastrophically wrong. Adrian materialized from the shadows behind them. He didn't use his gun; he used flawless, bone-crushing close-quarters combat. He neutralized the first guard with a devastating strike.
