Chapter 25 - the devil's lair
Relying on underground informants, Vance knew that El Muerte was directly commanding the pursuit from a luxurious mansion on the Mexican border. He didn't wait for them to attack but decided to infiltrate straight into the lair.
Under the pitch-black night, Vance and his team approached the mansion grounds. El Muerte's guards were armed to the teeth, patrolling continuously with K-9 units. The camera system scanned every blind corner.
Using elite special forces skills, Vance utilized a suppressed sniper rifle to absolutely silently neutralize the snipers on the roof. His team slipped through the electric fence, infiltrating the courtyard.
Gunfire erupted when a guard accidentally spotted them. The element of surprise was gone. A fierce battle exploded. Gun smoke blew thickly everywhere. Vance charged forward like a brutal machine of destruction.
No one could stop his advance. Those who had once sowed terror in the hearts of so many innocent families now had to taste the ultimate fury of a man ready to burn down the entire world to protect his wife and child.
