The truck screeched to a halt in the middle of the lawn. Marco stepped out, brandishing an assault rifle in his hands. His face was gaunt, covered in terrifying scars, his eyes streaked with the bloodshot glare of a lunatic with nothing left to lose.
He aimed his gun at Maya. But before he could pull the trigger, Dante lunged forward to shield her. With the terrifying speed of a mafia boss, Dante drew his gun and fired three highly precise shots directly into Marco.
