Chapter 68 - the final judgment
Viktor dropped to his knees on the polished marble floor, completely abandoning his aristocratic persona. The untouchable oligarch was reduced to a pathetic, sobbing mess, desperately begging the twin queens to leave him a fraction of his vast fortune.
Sophie and Ruby looked down at the weeping mastermind without a single ounce of human pity. He had ruthlessly tried to poison them and steal the philanthropic legacy their father had painstakingly built. There would be absolutely no mercy here tonight.
"You attacked our family," Ruby whispered, her voice dropping into a low, demonic register that terrified the remaining council members. "And the Moretti bloodline does not negotiate with parasites."
Sophie pressed a final button on her tablet. The heavy boardroom doors unlocked, swinging wide open to reveal a massive squad of heavily armed federal agents waiting in the corridor. The twins had anonymously provided them with irrefutable evidence of the council's global crimes.
