Chapter 9 - The Silent Judgment

Marco tried to bolt for the heavy mahogany doors.

He didn't make it two steps. Dante’s massive, midnight-black suited bodyguards materialized from the shadows of the restaurant, stepping smoothly into Marco's path.

No punches were thrown. No physical confrontation was needed. The sheer, overwhelming dominance of the Russo family was absolute. Dante didn't even raise his voice. He simply stared at the corrupt manager who had betrayed his family and terrorized the woman who saved his daughter.

"Take him to the basement," Dante ordered, his voice echoing with chilling, cinematic realism. "He doesn't sleep until I know exactly where my wife is."

Marco fell to his knees on the polished black marble, sobbing and begging for mercy. He was effortlessly dragged away by his collar, vanishing through the kitchen doors under Tony’s watchful, unforgiving eyes.

The heavy tension in BELLANOTE finally broke. The villain had been exposed, and Dante now had the key to finding his missing wife.

Dante turned slowly back to Maya. The suspicion and fear that had gripped his heart for three days were completely gone. He looked at the exhausted, 28-year-old waitress. She was shaking, still holding tightly to his daughter's hand. She had endured Marco's cruel humiliation and worked herself to the bone, all while carrying the trauma of saving a child's life.

👉 Dante was a man of infinite wealth and power, and his gratitude was about to change the poor waitress's life forever.
