Chapter 27 - the secret project

Spring arrived in Manhattan, bringing vibrant colors and warm sunshine. Inside the Russo estate, ten-year-old Sophia was engaged in a top-secret mission with the help of Tony Martinelli and the loyal family bodyguards.

For weeks, Sophia had been secretly sketching intricate designs on pink construction paper, whispering excitedly with the bakery staff whenever Maya was busy managing the foundation's extensive charitable projects.

The big day finally arrived. Sophia grabbed Maya by the hand, insisting on a surprise visit to the commercial space directly across the street from the original Sweet Haven bakery—a space that had remained empty for years.

As Maya unlocked the heavy glass door, her jaw dropped in absolute astonishment. The massive room had been transformed into a magical, fairy-tale children's cafe and artisanal pastry school named 'Princess Sweet Haven'.

Banners hung from the gilded ceilings, and giant pastel-colored macaron sculptures decorated the corners. Elena and Dante stood near the front counter, applauding warmly alongside Tony and the entire devoted bakery crew.

"For all the children you've saved, and the dreams you've inspired," Sophia declared proudly, handing Maya a golden ceremonial pair of oversized ribbon-cutting scissors with an angelic smile.
