Chapter 53 - a father's wisdom

Sophia immediately drove to the sprawling, heavily secured suburban estate to consult the true, original architect of their family's formidable resilience.

Dante sat calmly in his mahogany-paneled study, the subtle black tattoos still visible at his collar, listening closely as his daughter described the catastrophic digital threat. He didn't show a single ounce of fear; he had survived betrayals and shootouts, emerging entirely unbroken and infinitely stronger.

"You are trying to fight a machine with other machines, Sophia," Dante said softly, his deep voice still carrying that undeniable, regal authority of a mafia king. "But every machine, no matter how highly sophisticated, has a greedy, flawed human creator hiding behind the screen. Do not focus on the virus. Focus on the monster's fragile ego."

Sophia's eyes flashed with sudden, brilliant realization. "You're right, Dad," she said. "The hacker didn't just steal the data; he left a highly theatrical ransom message. He is extremely arrogant and desperate for our attention."
