Chapter 32 - silent counterattack
The next morning, Claire sat in her luxurious glass office at the top of the tower, her sharp, cold eyes skimming over a series of classified documents. No longer the submissive woman of the past, she was now a powerful and incredibly sharp financial queen.
Instead of panicking, she immediately called her best team of lawyers and investigators. "I want to know the entire cash flow of this shell company. Don't leave a single loophole unchecked," she ordered in a chillingly cold voice.
A few hours later, Max, the intelligent son with a gift for technology, successfully hacked into the opponent's data system. He discovered a series of illegal transactions linked directly to Victoria's personal accounts.
"Mom, she isn't just buying up debt, she is also threatening medical suppliers to cut off their contracts with us," Max reported, his eyes blazing with indignation. "She wants to push our hospital project into a dead end."
Claire smirked slightly, a highly dangerous smile blooming on her lips. Did she think she could repeat her father's cruel game?
