Chapter 73 - a mother's wisdom

Leo and Max drove back to the luxurious penthouse to consult the true, original architect of their family's resilience: Claire. Despite her advancing age, the immortal queen of the Miller empire still possessed an incredibly sharp, flawless intuition.
She sat calmly on her white velvet sofa, listening closely to her sons describe the catastrophic digital threat. Claire didn't show a single ounce of fear; she had survived the worst kind of betrayal from Mark and emerged entirely unbroken.
"You are trying to fight a machine with other machines, Max," Claire said softly, pouring a cup of warm tea with steady, elegant hands. "But every machine, no matter how sophisticated, has a greedy, flawed human creator hiding behind the screen. Do not focus on the code. Focus on the monster."
Leo, a master of human psychology, instantly understood his mother's brilliant wisdom. The hacker's motivations were the ultimate key.
"She's absolutely right," Leo said, his eyes flashing with sudden realization. "The hacker didn't just steal the money; he left a theatrical message. He is arrogant, narcissistic, and desperate for our attention. He wants us to know he outsmarted us."
