Michael Jr. immediately locked down the entire special isolation ward of the hospital. He did not alert the media or the public, because he knew full well that inciting panic was the ultimate goal of bioterrorists.
He picked up the phone and immediately called his father, Noah, who was attending a global medical summit in Geneva. Upon hearing the description of the neurotoxin's molecular structure, the seasoned chairman instantly fell into complete silence.
"Dad, someone is reusing the Falcone gang's poison," Michael Jr. spoke urgently. "But they have modified it to be airborne. If this gets into the subway system, thousands of people will die in a matter of hours."
"Lock down the hospital immediately, Michael," Noah ordered, his voice dropping with the cold and terrifying authority he inherited from his father. "I am returning tonight. Absolutely do not trust any federal agencies."
