Chapter 77 - the creator's downfall

Caleb spun around in his ergonomic chair, his face violently draining of all color. The arrogant, untouchable hacker was absolutely paralyzed by sheer, suffocating terror.
He stared at the heavily armed strike team and the two towering Miller heirs standing perfectly calm in his subterranean fortress.
"How did you find me?!" Caleb shrieked, his voice cracking with pathetic, humiliating panic. He reached frantically for his master console, intending to execute the final wipe command to destroy the Miller databases.
"I wouldn't touch that," Max warned smoothly, his hazel eyes entirely devoid of mercy. "The moment you breached our honeypot, my virus completely hijacked your mainframe. Your AI is dead. Your servers are bricked. You are locked out of your own empire."
Caleb stared at his massive digital monitors. Every single screen flashed a brilliant, blinding red error message. His life's work, his billions of dollars in stolen cryptocurrency, and his entire extortion network had been permanently, irreversibly erased in a fraction of a second.
