Chapter 34 - the truth exposed
The emergency bulletin on the large screens clearly displayed classified documents proving Victoria had used funds from transnational criminal organizations to finance market manipulation and corporate sabotage against rivals.
The massive hall suddenly sank into a terrifying silence. All the aristocratic guests simultaneously stepped back, looking at Victoria with eyes of disgust and horror. Her mask of arrogance was completely torn off.
"This is blatant slander!" Victoria screamed maniacally, dropping her champagne glass onto the marble floor. "You framed me, Claire! You are a cold-blooded monster!"
Claire stepped forward, her eyes radiating absolute authority. "I merely brought the truth to light. Greed and hatred clouded your judgment, leading you right into the same humiliating rut your father fell into years ago."
The hall doors flew open, and a squad of armed FBI agents marched straight toward Victoria. Cold figure-eight handcuffs locked her wrists tightly. Her fake arrogance was crushed into fragmented pieces right in front of the public.
